This is a legally binding contract between Skill Tradr (“the Company,” “We,” “Us”) and any user of the Skill Tradr platform (“the User,” “You”). By using our Resources, Dashboard, or recruitment tools, you agree to these terms. If you are using this on behalf of a business, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity.
Skill Tradr is a technology driven recruitment marketplace. We provide tools for Employers to find talent and for Candidates to find work.
Not an Employer: Skill Tradr is not an employer, labor hire firm, or insurance provider. All employment contracts are directly between the Employer and the Candidate.
No Agency: No agency, partnership, or joint venture is created by your use of the Service.
Our “Success Fee” model is designed for transparency.
Placement Fee: Employers agree to pay a flat fee of $2,500 USD (or equivalent in local currency at the time of hiring) for every candidate hired through the platform.
The “Hire” Trigger: A fee is owed if an Employer hires a Candidate within 12 months of that Candidate being introduced via Skill Tradr, regardless of the role or salary.
Global Payments: All fees are exclusive of local taxes (VAT, GST, Sales Tax), which will be added where legally required.
Late Payments: We reserve the right to suspend Dashboard access for any account with an invoice overdue by more than 30 days.
The Placement Fee is a net amount of $2,500 USD. For Employers located outside the United States, fees are subject to the Reverse Charge Mechanism; the Employer is responsible for accounting for any local VAT, GST, or consumption taxes in their own jurisdiction. For US based Employers, any applicable state sales tax will be added to the invoice based on the Employer’s registered address.
To keep the platform viable, we strictly prohibit “off platform” hiring of introduced candidates to avoid fees.
Restriction: Users shall not circumvent Skill Tradr by communicating directly with Candidates found on the platform for the purpose of avoiding the $2,500 fee.
Liquidated Damages: If a bypass occurs, the Employer agrees to pay the original $2,500 fee plus a $1,500 penalty fee to cover the cost of investigation and enforcement. This applies globally.
Penalties for Breach: In the event that an Employer is found to have circumvented the Service to hire a Candidate:
Financial: The Employer shall be immediately liable for the original $2,500 Placement Fee plus a $1,500 Liquidated Damages penalty.
Administrative: Skill Tradr reserves the right to immediately and permanently terminate the Employer’s access to the Service. This includes, but is not limited to:
Account Deletion: Immediate termination of the business profile and all associated user logins.
Identity Blacklisting: Permanent banning of all email addresses and domains associated with the offending business.
Technical Blocking: Implementation of IP Address banning and device fingerprinting to prevent future account creation or access from the offending entity’s network.
4.3 No Refund of Credits: Any remaining credits or subscription time associated with a banned account are forfeited and non refundable upon breach of this non circumvention clause.
Site Safety: Employers are solely responsible for workplace safety and compliance with local labor laws (e.g., OSHA in the US, HSE in the UK).
Work Quality: Skill Tradr is not liable for the quality of work, property damage, or delays caused by a Candidate. The Employer must perform their own due diligence, trade tests, and background checks.
Indirect Damages: Skill Tradr shall not be liable for any “loss of profits” or “business interruption” claims. Our total liability is capped at the amount of the fee paid for the specific hire.
Skill Tradr utilizes the easy.jobs recruitment platform to manage candidate data, technical testing, and hiring pipelines.
Data Processing: By using the Service, you acknowledge that candidate personal data is processed through easy.jobs. This data is handled according to industry standard encryption (AES 256) and secure TLS/SSL protocols.
Compliance: Our integration with easy.jobs is designed to be GDPR and CCPA compliant, ensuring that candidates have the “right to be forgotten” and the right to access their data upon request.
Third Party Terms: Your use of the dashboard is also subject to the technical limitations and uptime of the easy.jobs infrastructure. Skill Tradr is not liable for temporary service interruptions caused by third party providers.
Candidate Ownership: Candidates retain ownership of their personal profiles. Employers are granted a limited license to view this data solely for the purpose of making a specific hiring decision.
Employer Obligations: Employers using the easy.jobs dashboard agree to treat all candidate information as strictly confidential. Downloading, storing, or sharing candidate data outside of the Skill Tradr/easy.jobs ecosystem for any purpose other than immediate hiring is a material breach of these terms.
Data Retention: We retain billing and transaction data for five (5) years as required by law. Recruitment data is retained only as long as necessary to fulfill the hiring process or until a “deletion request” is received from the candidate.
Candidate Ownership: Candidates own their data. Employers may only use Candidate info for the specific purpose of hiring for a current opening.
Compliance: Skill Tradr complies with the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Users outside the US agree to handle data according to these high standards.
Right to Work: Employers are responsible for verifying a Candidate’s legal right to work in their specific country or state (e.g., I-9 in the US, Right to Work checks in the UK).
Anti Discrimination: Users must comply with all international fair hiring laws. We will terminate any account found to be engaging in discriminatory hiring practices.
All content on the Resources page, including technical CNC guides, charts, and blueprints, is the property of Skill Tradr. You may use this for internal training, but you may not resell or redistribute this content as your own.
Initial Resolution: Parties agree to attempt to resolve disputes informally for 30 days.
Binding Arbitration: Any remaining dispute shall be settled by binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA) for US disputes, or the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) for global disputes.
Class Action Waiver: You agree to bring claims only in your individual capacity and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class or representative proceeding.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the federal or state courts located in Harris County, Texas, and the parties hereby irrevocably consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue therein.
